Turn it off complete, connect it to the power cord for a while and the turn it on, if it doesnt show anything press the power button till it gets off again. Leave it for a while and try later.

Open the display screen of your Thinkpad and turn on the computer. Wait for the logo screen to give way to the main desktop screen.
Click on the "Start" tab in the bottom corner of the desktop screen and drop-down menu will appear.
Select "All Programs" from the list of options in the drop-down menu and a list of more options will appear.
Select "Capture Video From Device" and your Thinkpad window will activate. A capture window will appear on your desktop screen. From here, you can select the "Start Capture" tab in the capture window to begin shooting.
