My Acer travel mate will charge however it wont switch on thier seems to be no power getting to the machine ? what are your recomendations?

Am not sure about a reset.. However, you can try the system restore option. This will bring back your system to a earlier date configuration.

Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> System tools --> system restore is where you will find this.

Please read whats in there before restoring .. You might lose recently installed software / data

is your wireless switch on..did u look under internet and see if your connection shows.is it disabled look in my computer..did you set up new wireless connection? steve

It maybe that the invertor or the backlight has gone on the unit and you can either try replacing the screen or invertor yourself or take it to a reputable computer shop and ask them. If its the screen they tend to charge around £140 to resolve.
