Question about Panasonic PT-52LCX65 44" HDTV
It is most likely your lamp. The lamps have around a 3-5 year lifespan depending on how often you watch the TV. You can check for this yourself by opening the lamp door and removing the lamp to check for a cloud around the bulb or stem of the lamp. There are step by step directions for lamp replacement in your user's manual. They made it so it is consumer accessible and should not take more than 15 minutes to replace.
If you see any imperfections on the lamp then the lamp should be replaced to get a picture as bright as the day you bought it.
