Re: F6215-900 inner hose replacement

It is not easy to replace at all. Especially if you have little previous mechanical knowledge. The best thing to do is to take to a service center to have the install it.
I have done about ten or twelve. None of which have been a fun experience.

How to replace filler tube on Kirby G4 vacuum?

first take cloth bag off, held on at bottom with bag clamp, then wash cloth bag in washing machine at 40, inner hose is held on by 2 cable ties top and bottom, your new hose should come with 2 new cable ties, ask kirby agent when ordering, them simply refit.

Brushes will not spin -- broken part

Did deeper, I finally just fixed mine today, I thought the same thing about it not wanting to come apart, but try one more time, and when your almost done, look underneath there is a long plastic piece with two screws almost side by side towards the front, take them out, remove the two rubber hoses on the top side and remove the turbine, opens real easy and clean it out, then wala it' work again...

I had the same problem today. It turns out part of the steam hose was kinked. If you feel along the black tubing - this covers the actual steam hose, you may feel a hard spot where the inner hose may have kinked. Mine was near the end so I cut into it, cut out the kinked part, and reattached the hose to the endpiece - where it screws onto the body. If you do have a kink you will at least have to cut through the black tubing - careful not to cut the inner hose; you will see the nylon wrapped hose inside and can try to fix it. I was unable to unkink it without cutting it, you may have better luck, or you can do what I did. If you decide to, once you take apart the endpiece you'll see how it all goes together, pretty easy to figure out. Alternatively you might be able to buy a new hose through

Hope this solves your problem, if you haven't already. Good luck.

Hoover floor mate stopped picking up the water

Usually when this happens, it has to do with a dirty or bad filter(#45, 40112050). Or the recovery tank isn't seating like it should. Maybe this picture will help.

Hoover Agility, No Suction!!!

I had the same problem. Lower the handle to the floor and check the black spiral suction hose at the neck of the machine. The lower hose in my Hoover split. Check and see if yours has done the same thing. If so, the lower suction hose will have to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Hose breakage

The same thing happened to me last week. The inner hose does not have enough "extra" play so if you bend the handle down too low to reach under a dresser or bed the lower inner plastic hose snaps. I brought mine in to be repaired since it's under warranty. I did a long exhaustive search and came across this website1.gif that has Hoover Agility replacement hoses and their prices are the best I have found so far. The smaller inner hose (part number 90001080) is only $9.99 (compared to $13.99 & $19.99) and the external hose attachment (part number 91001004) is only $25.99 (compared to $39.95). I specifically asked and the parts are brand new... not refurbished or used. Their phone1.gif number is 866-914-1252. Just in case you're wondering, I'm not a rep for the company nor do I have any affiliation with them. I just placed an order for the hose attacment and came across this webpage1.gif and figured I'd add my 2 cents. Hope this info is helpful. I tried to make it as complete as possible.

Goiod luck.

PS: They also offer a flat rate shipping fee of $7.95 regardless of what you order. No sales tax unles you're in Ohio. :)
