Question about Canon Pixma MP500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
When I hit "print" I get a "printer is offline, check cable . . ." message. I have replace the cable, and that did not help. What next? Is this a printer or a computer problem? Who do I go to?
Is your printer showing up under My Printers on your computer? If not, reinstall the software and drivers for the printer.

Start-->printers and faxes-->right click on the printer-->properties-->make sure it's set to print online.

Disconnect the USB cable, go to RUN and type in services.msc and then find print spool and right click, then choose restart.
