Question about Samsung SyncMaster 245BW Monitor
My monitor has these "dancing" horizontal lines running the whole width of the screen. If I follow one "line" I notice it is gradually moving up or down the screen -soetimes up sometimes down. Each "line" is a distortion between 2-5mm thick. They are very difficult to see against a white background (such as this page on which I'm typing). I've tried different Magibright settings but it makes no difference
No solution i have 3 monitors like that and 1 has the problem on 3 different computer in different places with different video cards I'm bringging mine back to store

Dead pixel 100% My first 245BW had a dead pixel, exchanged it. This is why you buy these because of the 3 year factory warranty.

Which type of video connector are you using? VGA or DVI?
If you are using VGA, the horizontal line could be due to interference, like from an electric motor (fan) near the video cable.
Other thing to try is to change the refresh rate. In Windows XP: Control panel --> Display Properties --> Settings tab --> Advanced button --> Monitor tab --> Screen refresh rate. The default ot 60Hz for LCD monitors. Bump it up to 75Hz. That could give a clue to the problem or maybe even fix it.
