Tv turns off after say 2 minutes , clicking sound can be heard at back of tv blue power light still on though

The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the TV, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. Reassemble and test by turning it on. Search for YouTube video on how to replace capacitors....

Samsung HLN507W turns on for about one minute then shuts off, three blinking lights stay on in front. It is not the lamp, nor the blue lamp cover switch for sure. I unplug it and immediately turn it on. It always does the same thing: comes on for 1 minute, then powers down - there is no wait time in between unplugging and powering on. All fans seem to work and I cleaned the dust out of it. Help.

There is a problem with the power supply in your TV. The regulator switch is causing teh clicking sound you hear. In order to fix it, you will need to replace the power supply. This is done by taking off the back cover of the TV, locating the power supply which is usually a yellow board that will have many high voltage capicators on it and replacing it with a new one.

46" samsung flat screen takes 30 to 50 minutes to turn on

Hello,This sounds like a capacitor malfunction. Check the capacitors on your power supply boards (there should be two of them one is the AC input board and the other is the main DC switching powersupply). I have seen this before and every time it has been a series of dried out and bloated capacitors, effecting voltage regulation.Check for bloated capacitors and replace them, then check the voltages at the test points to make sure they are within specifications. You will need a multimeter, and the schematic for this TV set.I hope this helpsThank you,Shuttle83http://www.electron-age-technologies-llc.com

No Picture, power button blinks 5 times and just clicks

If you dont have the manual, download it from internet. It should tell you what the blinking light is indicating. My friends tv was blinking 3 lights around power button and the manual I downloaded correctly stated it was the lamp that needed to be replaced. I also found some other interesting info via the internet. There is a way to get into the Service Mode of a Samsung TV. Try doing a Google search for Service Mode for your model... Good Luck. PS the lamp itself was pretty expensive but installing it was not hard to do.
