    Hi,

    Printer is Ricoh MP C2000.

The ICON service man installed new software last week, but when I try to print the colored, double sided brochure it will only print one not 25 or 50 copies. I don't get any error messages. It just prints one at a time and I need to print atleast 50-100 at a time. What I have to do is copy them on the copier instead and the loose quality in the process.

    Thank you

The thing is, if the print size is more than the printer RAM size the number of copies printed will be one..

THis happenes with your printer, since the printing image size from the print master is usually high and the printer cannot handle it, its stops printing only one copy..

The various possible solution for this issue are

    1) Install the latest driver for your printer from the following link

Completely remove the old driver before trying the new driver

    http://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e...

2)Turn the spooler setting off , from the printer properties from the control panel->Printers Right click the properties and choosing the properties..

3)Just close all the application freeing up some RAM and try printing..

And while printing, just watch the number of copies fed to the printer by clicking the printer icon fromthe status bar...

Try these and leave me comment, if you need further assistance

Hi.

This may depend on the project that you are trying to print or on the printer.

Normally if you click print from the menu at the top on Printmaster, you will be able to select number of copies option at the right side on print windows.

If number of copies is grayed out, this is often because of the printer settings.

Try reinstalling the printer software using the printer disk, or test the software using a different printer.
Reinstalling printer may fix this problem.

Regards.

When I print a one page document, tray 1 prints on multiple papers at a time. 1 page prints on 5 pages.

If you don't have a manual, you can find one here

My guess is either on the printer or the driver. Skimming the manual, it doesn't seem that you can set the default number of pages printed per sent print job on the printer, but that is something I would look into. This is a nice office printer, perhaps the printer is set to print multiple copies of everything it is sent. You could determine if it is the printer or driver/computer by printing to it from another computer.

If it is the computer, go into the control panel and select the properties for this printer. In there, check if the number of copies is improperly set to 5. This would happen for every print job sent from this system.

Does it print 5 copies of documents sent from different programs (i.e. Web Page, Word, Excel)? Quite possibly, one time you set it to print 5 copies and that application retained that as default. In that application, rather than clicking "print" click "printer setup" and look through the settings to see if it is requesting multiple copies.

I am 95% sure one of these three solutions will solve your problem.

Printer has been fine, but over time refused to print fewer and fewer pages of multiple-copy project; now will only print one page at a time

This was a Lexmark printer, operated from an HP laptop running Vista. I right-clicked on the printer in Control Panel/Printers, clicked on Properties/Advanced/Print Processor and set it to NT EMF 1.008. No problem!

My hp 1320 prints only one copy

Windows may have eaten its baby again- that is, the driver for that printer.
Open the Control Panel, then Printers and Faxes, delete any listing for that model of printer, make sure the printer is on and connected, then reboot your system. This will force Win to 'find' the printer and install an uncorrupted driver for it.
