Usually this error code (error 0xE001D027) appears when you have installed the AVG after you have un-installed a previous antivirus or an Internet security package. What I'd suggest you: # download and install Revo Uninstaller from HERE (it's the BEST UNISTALLER I've ever known) # uninstall AVG (already installed) and any LEFTOVERS from the previously installed ANTIVIRUS/INTERNET SECURITY SOFTWARE # when all it will be done REINSTALL AVG
I've personally encountered this issue when setting up new Blackberry devices for clients too many times to count. This issue has to do with the Blackberry Desktop Manager installer package being corrupted when being downloaded. It does not seem to be a PC issue but an issue with the Blackberry website. The only work around is to download it until you get one that works. I have spent up to 10 times downloading it to get one to work. It also seems to help to disable the Antivirus as some PCs with certain Antivirus suites seem to have more issues then others. Make sure when you done load it to save it to the disk, then open it from the save file. Also when the installation is complete make sure to turn the Antivirus back on. The Blackberry site is here at http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ and the Desktop Manager is here at https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5
If these steps do not fix the problem, then go on to the next section.

Hi there It has something to do with your antivirus i think, If you used the System Restore function of your computer, it is very
likely to have installed an obsolete antivirus program. Almost all
computers now come with an antivirus program some sort installed, and
the Restore disks (or built-in System Restore) will reinstall it
Open the Windows Control Panel, check your list of installed programs, and see which antivirus program you have. Uninstall all but one of the antivirusprogram's.
You Havn't specified, What is the problem exactly. I mean you have not specified the error Description.
But still The problem could arose while uninstalling Antivirus Program would be:
1. Any *.dll file missing from antivirus directory.
2. system file of antivirus missing from System32 directory of windows.
3. Any file that belongs to antivirus are not able to load while installinfg like uninst.exe.
4.Windows installer 3.0 is not installed on ur system
(Check out all the above including reviewing ur antivirus directory for uninst.exe file)
To solve this error you must do the following:
1. Run AVG antivirus setup program to repair. some times it doesnot give you the option if half of installed program have been removed from system.
2. Go to run type "regedit" and press enter
3. go to hkey_local_machine ->SOFTWARE -> and select AVG
expand trees of AVG.
4. Check for data path and its contents in AVG directory of program files, and also For UninstPath to varify that the uninst.exe in avg directory of program files is not missplaced
5. After doing the specified solution 60% are the chances that ur program would be uninstalled. else if it doesnot uninstall the program and gives the same error then Choose system restore tool.
For restoring do the following:
1. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories ->System Tools
and select System Restore
2. Go to next window, Choose the restore point that was before installing of ur AVG Antivirus.
3. Select that restore point by reading the description.
4. Click next to restore.
Note: Your system will restart after choosing the restore point and clicking next. It takes some time to restore.
Most probably this tool will help you to remove this antivirus.
Remove it's entry from registry by Going to run type "regedit" and press enter
go to hkey_local_machine ->SOFTWARE -> andright click AVG
and select delete option to delete.
