You will either have a blockage in the system or a leak. The fact that it is partially cooling, it is very possibly a blockage. Unfortunately, a fridge technician is required. Possibly seller of fridge will cover repair cost or at least 1/2 of the cost.

Spoiled milk

It all depends on how much was consumed? If its small I would not worry, but large amounts carry dangerous bacteria. It would have to be a lot.

Can't clean out spilled (and now sour) milk spill

Hi, I'm not familiar with these fridges, but is it possible to access it from the back, underneath the evaporator tray? It could even be that the milk has gone down the drain hole and into the evaporator tray itself. Its a small flat plastic tray that has raised sides, and will probably have water in in, sits just above the motor

Sat in storage for 4 months. Now icemaker not making ice and frig is not cold enough to keep milk from souring.Your ideas? Whirlpool Refrigerator model: ED5JHEXTQ00

Check condenser fan that it is turning. Also it is possible you lost freon (leak) when it was moved. Take back cover off to see if fan is turning. Feel compressor to see if it's too hot indicating it lost freon,also feel the larger copper tube going into the compressor ,it sould be cold and sweating.

Your issue is;
"my subzero fridge is not cooling like it should. milk will sour in about 2 days. Im trying to find a list of dealers in the Brewton, Alabama area. Im having a hard time finding someone to do a service call, thanks, Daniel"

Before contacting a servicer, you may want to check on a few simple things first.
1. Are all doors closed and sealed tightly all the way around?
2. Are the cold controls properly set or adjusted high enough?
3. Is the condensor coil clean?
4.Frost build up in freezer on the back wall. This issue would be a defrost cycle problem and may require a technician.

GE Side-By-Side Refrigerator Model GSS 23QSTA SS

Apparently the digital read out sensor is bad. 45°F is to high for safe food storage. The fact that the milk spoils is another factor which speaks on its own that there is a temperature control problem. There is no "defroster fan". There are two fans in the unit. One is the air circulation fan located inside the freezer compartment and the other is the condenser fan for cooling the refrigeration system. If you had called for service in the first year it would be covered by warranty with the exception of the service call charge. After the first year ends electrical and control problems are not covered. If the evaporator fan in the freezer is noisy there is something wrong with it. It could be the source of your whole problem.
