If you remove the top lid, you will see a bracket in the middle of the door in the front. There will be a bracket which connects to the latch held on to the frame by a small nut. Undo that nut with a long nosed pliers and slide the door open. Remove the bracket then replace it back again.

How do we get into the drum of a WD860 and door catch. bar bone stuck

In theory, if you unplug the machine from the mains, the door SHOULD unlock after a couple of minutes, since the catch is kept powred up by the mains and once deprived of power, this design of catch WILL release as it discharges. However, if the door handle is broken, meaning that you can't open the door, even when it's unlocked, you can pop the door by doing the following:

Unplug from the mains, primarily for safety, but also to ensure the lock mechanism is discharged. Begin work after 2 minutes

Take the 2 screws out of the back of the lid and then, hit the front of the lid sharply with the heel of your hand to dislodge it.

Look down inside the front of the machine and you will see the door lock mechanism with the hook of the door catch protruding slightly. With a small screwdriver, push the point of the catch to the left and it will allow the door to open.

Now, you're in. I'm not sure what the "bar Bone" is that you're talking about. Please provide more detail and we can move your issue forward to a conclusion

Door will not latch

open door and on door frame you will see a metal catch that the door hooks to pull its self closed and creates a seal. this catch sometimes needs to be adjusted by loosening 2 screws and moving forward most likely.

Latch is not working properly

It's possible the machine is slightly twisted.
Try re-levelling it to start.
You can usually tell when the door is not quite closed if it looks out-of-centre.

The next thing to check is lubrication of the catch. Try some WD-40 in the latch mechanism.

If still no better, then the latch may need adjusting by removing the front panel (unplug machine before doing this).
Grease the moving parts and adjust catch for easy closing.

My door doesn't seal/catch when closing. Machine

If the door switchmechanism is still in place inside the door, you should be able to see it when you open the door ,it is visible on the inside if the door top centre if it is intact then it could be that the actuator bracket has moved, this is located under the top panel front centre and is held in position by an hexagonal nut. the top is secured at the back of the machine by 2 screws one on the left and one on the right remove the two screws slide the top to the rear approx 1/2 inch lift off the top you can now access the door catch bracket, close the door and adjust the bracket forward so that it latches securely but don't position it to far forward or it could bottom on the back of the door mechanism, if everthing is in place unit should be fixed, reposition top onto the two front lugs and slide top gently forward replace the two screwws at the back and you should be in business

The soap dispenser does not open to let the detergent out during the wash cycle.

Sometimes if the tablet is not put in correctly it makes the door catch jam as the tablet is pushing against the door and not leting the catch move to open. try putting the tablet in then close the door then just flick the catch to open the door to see if it opens easy. if this dose not cure it then the door catch has moved or got loose behind the door cover. with the electricty off and plug removed you migh try taking the screws that hold the main door front on and then checking the plastic arms are all inline and move easy. the door catch works on a selonoid that throws open the catch, its unlikly that this has gone open curcuit but if this is not opperating i think you need to call an engineer.

The handle of my Bosch exxcel dishwasher is stuck inwards and doesnt move, this stops the door from closing - when pushed shut it pops back open. How can I fix this?

i usually use 2 thin bladed screwdrivrs and flip the catch back over without dismantelling the door.
for the catch to flip usually means the unit is not level as the door is not closing squarely..

Belling integrated dishwasher not working properly

are you sure it is the board at fault, not justv the door catch? (as the door wont open). If the dishwasher believes it has just finished a cycle and the door has not yet been opened it will not let you change the program.
I had this same problem so I hooked an allen key around the back of the white door catch and pulled it into the unlocked position with a pair of pliers. Has worked fine since but every now and then the catch will pop back into the locked position when the door is opened.

I had the same problem, so I took the door apart as explaned above, found it was gunged up with residue from the washihg cycles. Gave it a good clean, while the part was disconected of course, and hay presto! the door works like new again.
