I want to reset the transfer belt

Remove the transfer belt unit and change the chip fuse on transfer unit.The fuse is or a little green pieces or glass fuses ,the value 0,065mA/250V rapid fuse.After change the fuse pull on the unit and turn ON the copier.Before change the fuse reset the transfer belt counter in the Present parts life mode.

C13C8 A new installation is not detected when a new Transfer Cleaner Unit (Image Transfer Belt Unit) is installed.
When a new transfer belt unit is installed in a machine an internal component on the transfer belt unit changes state; this now indicates that the transfer belt unit is used

TX Comm Error An outgoing fax transmission error has occurred. Resend the fax. Warming up Wait for the message to clear....

You can try to reset by opening front door, if that don't help try to remove transfer belt from copier, then rotate gear on the side of transfer belt for 180 degree or less, put it back on copier and try to reset by opening front door. Try that few times. Problem is with sensor that detect pressure of transfer rolers inside transfer belt, but sensor is not in transfer, it is inside main body of machine, maybe is dirty but you can't clean it because whole machine must be disassembled. There is a modification for transfer belt and sensor inside machine for preventing that problem, but you must contact service.

transfer belt (and other consumables) will reset follow this procedure:

1. go in diagnose mode:
menu - # - 1934 - menu
2. in tech mode -consumables counter - transfer belt -reset
3. after 20 sec. power off and power on
When transfer belt count 60.000 image need to reset.
good lock!

You can reset the transfer roller counter under the menu for the printer. To do this:

1. Press menu.
2. Push the right arrow twice to get to "Engine"
3. Verify Engine is the option displayed and press select/enter.
4. Scroll through the menu until you see "Engine Service". Press select.
5. Scroll to "Reset Counter Transfer Roller". Press select.

After pressing Select on step 5 it appears to run a calibration (at least it did on mine.) But the message should be gone after that. The counter for the transfer belt is also here. Please be sure not to reset the wrong one.

I got a way to reset the transfer belt counter:
Just press Meny.button, then #{4-digit-password-number}# and follow this path:
Techmode - DataSetup - Clear counts - Transfer belt Passord={4-digit-password-number}

The brackets should not be entered, only 4 digit.

Use the keys on the control panel to select the following menus: setup|maintenance|check others|transfer belt|reset then press [enter]. The LCD should read "reset now" and the printer will return to the ready prompt.

This assumes the error message you have is for the transfer belt near end and not the transfer roller itself (which is NOT part of the transfer belt, it's actually attached to the RH door as you look at the control panel).

Unfortunately you cannot there is a resistor on the unit that when you replace it it blows resetting the transfer counter.
