Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
How to modify my ps2
Good.. now listen to me carefully... i live in Mauritius and i modify ps1-2-3 everyday.. there is a simple way that nobody would think how to mod it.... just remove the lens slowly, cut the yellow wire and seal the red with the blue... thats will make your lens hidden power arise so as it can read any dvd or cd copy... let your brain work!!! how its possible that an original lens cannot play a simple duplicate!!!!

Yeah, be very careful where you post what. the Feds have already raided multiple modders, because this is a copyright infringement.

O.K. Now I am going to teach you all how to Easily mod your ps2 system .
1), unplug the ps2 unit,
(sounds simple but some peeple.......)
2) remove the screws in the bottom of the case with
a philips head scewdriver.(you must first peel off the little spongy plastic tabs that cover them and serve as non slip 'feet' also you must remove (and try to save is possible) the little sticker that says warrenty seal etc....couse its gonna get broken any way when the bottom comes off. then locate the laser lens (the part that reads the disc .... You there ?? OK now take some lanthanide paste and polish the lens with it. after that super glue will do the trick to stop the "door ajar" light from comming on .then solder the two leads that dont go any where to the peice you took out of the old smoke detector . then reasemble the entire unit
being carefull not to come in contact with alpha particles or Thorium.
please remember to play safe and do not play your ps2 near anyone with a pacemaker.

....by modify, i assume you mean to play backup games. Install a modchip..."matrix infinity" is suppose to be the best out there nowadays. I don't recommend the swap magic because it's a hassle for me and not 100% to play all backups.
