Question about Nintendo DSi Black Console
The website that you purchased your R4 card will have the latest firmware for download. Download the package and move it to your sd micro card with the adapter provided. After you have the software on the card you will need to make some folders for your games and media. I know with the R4 revolution card there were a total of four files I had to copy to the micro card. I do not have a R4i card so there may be more folders to copy over to the card. It is fairly simple process. I know with my R4 card I am limited to size of the micro card ... you may want to check if the R4i card also has these limitations, but I don't think it does..... Hope this helps good luck

Some sites you but cards from puts the software on the cards for you at a little extra cost, some supply the sdcard with a disc with the software on, all you do is put the disc into the computer, then open the disc and transfer each folder over onto the sdcard, if you have none of this just go to linfoxdomain and find the card you have and download the software, then transfer it onto your card, when you have done that then put your game onto it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Go to R41 website and download the latest kernel upgrade they have if they have one and this would be the only fix. Never do any updates again unless you are sure it will not affect your card.
