Sound can't be detected in my laptop? i had been searching for sound to install.my laptop is Acer aspire 5002WLMi AMD Turion (tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-30

Hello

On the right hand corner right. right click on the sound icon .left click on open volume control & make sure nothing is muted.

Click Start>Right click My Computer>click Manage in the menu that opens. This will open Computer Management. In the left pane expand Services and Applications. Click Services. They will show in the right pane. Maximize the page so that you can see everything. Scroll down until you see Windows Audio. Two of the columns next to it should read Started and Automatic. If they don't, right click Windows Audio and then click Properties and set it to Automatic and start it. You'll see what I mean when you get there.

When I turned on my Acer Aspire 5580, I can't enter because of the various colored lines from top to bottom of the screen, can you assist me on how to fix my laptop? Thank you in advance.

Hello

OK, this problem can be due to the following problems.

It is either that the data cable connecting the mother board to the LCD screen has a partial connection, or the graphics adapter is damaged.

Open up the unit and make sure that the cable is connected property. If the vertical lines is visible if you start the computer, you have a damage LCD screen itself.

Have a look at the above solution, and let me know if it works.

Kind regards
Andrea

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 1356LMi laptop. It

This problem is mostly likely with your LCD screen. It needs to be replaced. I suggest you connect your laptop to an external computer monitor and see if you still see the same issue on the external monitor. If you don't see it, then for sure it is not your motherboard or graphic chip. It has to do with your screen. In rare cases this can also happen if your wiring for the LCD screen is going bad or damaged.

Once you connect the external computer monitor to your laptop, turn your laptop on and located the "FN" and "F4 or F5 key depending on the laptop model" key on your laptop. Hold FN down and hit the F4 key once and see if the screen switches to your external monitor. If not, hit it again and wait.

Some newer laptops auto detect external monitors when they are connected to one.

How to change out a broken lcd screen on an aspire

http://www.insidemylaptop.com/remove-lcd-screen-replace-inverter-board-acer-aspire-5100-laptop/
This is its contents without the pictures:

OK, let’s get inside the display assembly.
First of all, turn off the laptop, unplug AC adapter and remove the battery.
The screen bezel* has four screws hidden under for seals. Two rubber seals on the top of the bezel and two plastic seals on the bottom.
You can remove all four screw seals with a sharp object as it shown on the picture below. Glue removed seals somewhere on the bezel so they don’t get lost.
Remove four screws found under seals.
Start remove the screen bezel with your fingers. Proceed slowly while removing the bezel.
Carefully separate the display cover from the screen and access the LCD cable connector
You’ll have to unplug the LCD cable from the screen.
First, unglue the clear sticky tape securing the connection.
Second, unplug the LCD cable from the connector on the screen.
Here’s how you can remove the LCD screen.
Simply remove four screws securing the LCD screen to the display hinge. Remove four more screws from the other side of the screen.
Now you can remove and replace the LCD screen with a new LCD screen.
Put all the screws back in there places

it is probably a loose or crimped LCD cable, either on the main board or on the back of the LCD panel itself.
