Question about Sony Ericsson P1i
If the transfer is completed you can find your file in the messages inbox folder. However, if it is NOT fully transfered it is located in the cashe (one of the hidden directories) of the Symbian OS. To delet or copy it, simply use MyPhoneExplorer and go to "File" management tab. there, in the below address you can find the file:

Go to messages it's stored on the phone as a message
any item you transfer via Bluetooth gets stored as a message...
