What kind of cpu cooling fan can I use in a Acer America ASE380-UD420A desktop computer?

Cooling fan to CPU are come along with the CPU. You can use any other fan, having speed regulator pin, ie, the connector wire to it will have three conductors. Keep a close look at the size and seating screws to its body to the heat-sink of the CPU.

How do I control CPU fan speed on an Acer G45T/G43T-AM3?

Some gamer or extreme motherboards have this feature, but I doubt ACER does. Try blowing out dust with canned air. This really works for me. I have an older machine, and I live in dusty Vegas so I know what you mean.

The other solution is to look for a bigger and quieter heatsink / fan.

My asrock 775vm800 restart automaticlly please help meee

Plz check the CPU temperature in BIOS>>Hardware Monitor if it is >70 it the problem with your CPU heatsink fan fixation problem. You need to clean the processor die and heatsink contact with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and apply small amount of heatsink cement in heatsink fan and reinsert heat sink. Make sure all the heatsink fixing studs inserted in motherboard properly, it can be inspected by the bottom side of the motherboard

CPU Shutting Down the PC

The clips attach on either side of the heatsink. They usually just pry up to remove (take a pic if u can of the heatsink b/4 removing clips). I'm guessing the fan is loaded with dust. Cleaning a fan will usually fix any problem you're having with the fan itself. If after cleaning the fan it works and PC still shuts down, you have 1 of 2 problems:
  • Bad power supply; make a not if the fan for the power supply is still working; a can of compressed air does a nice job of cleaning the inside of the PC including the power supply
  • Bad motherboard; only cure for bad motherboard is replacement
I hope this clarifies your issue and please don't hesitate to post back with other PC issues. All the best!

No beep,No Display on my monitor, only CPU heatsink fan is moving

have you thought about changing the battery on the motherboard, also checking that the fan on the cpu is seated properly with enough heatsink paste as both these issues will stop the pc from booting

Laptop Heating up

Hi,
this is a general problem, with most laptops not just Acer.
the more modern-faster and more memory installed, all contribute to these factors. battery power is standard for lasting anywhere between 45 minutes to 2 hours. 2 main causes of overheating, are that the fan exhaust outlet may be blocked or restricting warm air extraction from the cpu. secondly the heatsink material ( Thermal-Patch Or Paste ) between cpu and heatsink, is insufficient. there are other reasons but these are the 2 most common. if the laptop is warranted, i,d suggest returning it, for repair/replacement. if it isn,t then locate the cpu fan, and clean out any dust build up, usually between the fan and outer casing.

hope this helps you.

ASUS NCT-d

Hi, have you tried removing the CPU and using a Air Jet Spray can to clean all contact pins and pin holes? The problem sounds like a loose chip. So also check all on board chips are seated, including RAM chips. Air spray can be bought from most Computer stores. Goodluck mistyman
