Reseting to default Firmware!!!

after upgrading the DPH-80s to another firmware DPH-80m , the phone is locked and is not accessible !
tried to connect to web-interface by phone default ip address (10.1.1.80) but it seems to not up ! trying to ping it , scanning the range of the 10.1.1.0/24,8 , but no response from any ip address receives !
the phone LED is on , but has not any call on it ! tried to reset to default factory by pressing the *789*# but was not efficient !
can you please tell me how to resolve this problem ?!
I'm trying to work it with asterisk ! but stopped !

If you are saying that there is a mistake with the firmware, you are in serious trouble. Firmware in most cases cannot be restored if there is a problem with upgrades or installs.

Hello!

It sounds like you got this phone from the service provider you want to stop using.
If so, then the problem is that they have preprogrammed a provisjoning server in your phones firmware.
As long as this service is enabled their settings will overwrite any changes.
i cant find any information about this modell, but usually this menu is in a admin restricted part of the firmware and therefore it cant be changed without doing some serious hacking.
But before you give up try looking for settings in firmware menu (if it got a webui) that can point to this.

Voip equipment is usually cheap so its not worth the hassle if it cant be done easily. So before u put in a lot of hours in this problem consider buying new hardware.

this phones doesnt got support for standard SIP protocol, so its not supported by any major voip provider.

I can't format my phone memory.
If you can not reformat the phone memory, and since that the music player and the browser are not working, the best solution that I could advise you to do is to upgrade the firmware of the phone.

However, you need to send the phone to the nearest Nokia Care Center, and have them upgrade the firmware for you. Because they know the version of firmware that would work best for your phone.

Firmware upgrade will erase all the contents of the phone, will make your application work correctly, and will reformat the built-in memory of the phone.

Lock phone and forgot unlock code
Try entering the security code. The security code is supplied in the manual. If it doesn't work, try a hard reset. If it doesn't resolve yet, try a Firmware upgrade. It may not work ( Firmware Process ) as you can have a upgraded Firmware already. In that case, try to contact the Lg Service Support. They will update the phone to its default settings and will also make the phone's lock code defaulted. Thus enabling you to only entering the default code ( which is normally 1234, 12345 or 0000 ).

Will not reset after pressing button everything stays the same power light will not stay on the 4 port light will flash for a short while then they go out
HI! if reseting the router wont work by reseting it while its on.. do the hard reset, how? press the reset button while power is on and then after 10secs, unplug the power on the back of the router for 2secs and plug in while the reset button is still press, press it for 15secs.. then release.. leave it unplug for 10secs and plug in. if this issue wont fix, try to download the latest firmware for the router and upgrade the firmware.. after download is done, connect the router to ur computer and access the setup page of the router and do the upgrade..

since you upgraded a different firmware try updating the firmware again with the correct firmware if it works fine if it doesnot then the router had gone bad,,
and for GeminiBS reset the router to the factory default since the firmware was not done in a proper manner may be it had interruptions..once the hard reset is done the computer is restored back to the default so that you can use the device..

it might be about your adsl modem/router. some modems need firmware upgrade to use with macbook/macbook pro/imac, and iphone. firmware upgrade is not the solution sometime. you might change the modem then..

If you want it, I can help you to flash it to the firmware of your choice either Chinese, French, German.... Firmware Upgrade
Unfortunately, a failed firmware upgrade is the one thing you can't recover from. The only reset available on these devices is just going back to the original factory configuration. If the base software itself has been corrupted, then I'm afraid there is no way to recover. If the device is still under warranty, contact the vendor to arrange a replacement, or bring it back to the store from which you purchased it.
