Question about Kenmore 53092 / 53094 Side by Side Refrigerator
I have a Kenmore 10652542101 side by side. She seems to be cooling just fine. The chiller is nice and cool and the Freezer is frozen but the condencer fan in the bottom is constantly running and the compressor is pretty dammed hot to the touch. I can hold my hand on it for 1 to 2 seconds. Not to good
I cleaned the condencer really well as it was pretty dammed dirty.
The temp switch on the compressor continues to cycle on for 7-10 seconds and off for 2 minutes. The fan continues to run all the while 24 hours a day. It seems more noticeable during the later evening hours. The house temp is 69 degrees. Good air flow in the chiller and freezer. Very little water in the drip pan. I cycled the temp switches and nothing seemed to change. The clicking seems to go in cycles just after the doors are opened and or after a while just out of the blue it will start to cycle with the clicking sound of the temp switch on the compressor.
Any help in diagnosing this will be greatly appreciated. I'm in the military and will be deploying soon. I'd like to get this fixed for my wife before I deploy.
Check the grounds to the ref. also check power to the ref. but it sounds like you have a floating ground the only thing else to mke comp.cycle is the relay which is on the comp. itself
