Re: computer crash/need upgrade

I need more information to properly assess this problem.

What sort of P.C. is this? How old is it? How much R.A.M. (Random Access Memory) do you have? What O.S. (Operating System) are you currently using?

My first "guess" is that this is a lack of R.A.M. Games usually use an awful lot of memory for their graphics functions in their programs.

Today's standard for most computer operations are about 1 G.B. (Gigabyte) of D.D.R. (Double Data Rate) R.A.M. (Random Access Memory)

Why is my laptop crashing?

I would try getting the latest video card drivers first, if it is a Nvida card & it has recently updated itself, I would roll back the drivers, there has been a problem with the last update & my computer didn't like the upgrade & blue screened a lot, but was fine after I rolled them back in safe mode, if the problem if not repairable via software then go to a Laptop specialist, for what its worth I think its a software issue as you say its only when playing games, but im not an expert just well informed.

How can I get more speed from my computer? When trying to play any online games it freezes and crashes

install more ram. i hate to bash on a pc manufacturer but emachines tends to go with lowest bidder parts. it's probably your graphics that can't keep up and it may be overheating or overloading the cache/buffer. if you give me your model number and what game you're playing i can verify this. you need to make sure your system has supports the minimum requirements for the game

Im done installing my idate games but everytime i open it no compatible 3d device was always ive seen on my screen

It means you have to upgrade the video card on your desktop.
Check the requirements to play the games you installed. If the requirements did not meet by your desktop either look for another game or upgrade necessary hardware to run it.

Hope that helps you out!

you should first check your drive capacity, your RAM and the game minimum memory requirement. reformatting your computer should always be your last option. you need to have the installation disk for your fresh start.

The graphic card may not be able to handle the videos being played. The graphic card may need to be replaced. If it is not the graphic card the memory in the computer may need to be upgraded to keep up with the usage of the computer.
