I own 2 San Disks, Both are the same model (sansa m250 MP3 Player 2.0 GB) Both players freeze at the same place while attempting to initialize.

Is the HOLD switch acticated? (Check the switch on the side of the player).

If this fails & it really is frozen, a quick reset should do the trick. Take the battery out, wait 10 seconds & then replace it.

My Sandisk c150 is frozen and I've tried to turn it off and push the Hold button then turn it on again, but all that comes up is a symbol of a lock. Please HELP!

In this case on the Mp3 player itself u will see a Hold/Unphold slide switch just slide that switch to the opposite direction and that will fix the problem
