Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
If it were a connection issue, postback with the exact model numbers of the TV unit, the satellite receiver and the DVD recorder. Describe how the units are connected with the home theater system and how interconnected with each other.
Initially (and if have not been tried), set the Philips HTS3011/37 to its built-in FM tuner. This is to determine if the unit would have sound at least from receiving an FM radio station.
Offhand, if there is sound on FM, then the concern would be how the satellite receiver and/or the DVD recorder is connected to the home theater system. To my understanding, this model has only a single AUX IN which can then accept either one but not both at the same time.
Alternately, if there is no sound even on FM, then the HTS3011/37 would have a hardware fault. Options then are:
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
