Red light flashing what do i do? my xbox manufacture date is 8/16/07

If all the lights around it are flashing then most likely you have the red ring of death problem. Microsoft covers with warranty from 3 years after the manufactured date which you can find on the back of the 360. If it's still covered have it repaired otherwise you may want to consider selling it for parts and buying a replacement.

What is the date of manufacture of your XBox 360? You have a warranty up to THREE YEARS against E74 errors with Microsoft. If it's beyond 3 years, I know of a company that can fix it up for you pretty cheap and give you a decent warranty.

3 red lights is the most common error it is caused by the GPU and the CPU overheating and to fix it you need to either get a good xbox 360 Repair guide or send it in.

Call Microsoft. There was a deal they put out to fix the red death you are getting. Only certain manufacture dates apply, so best to search on this.

Never fear, Microsoft provided an extended warranty on this fault! On the rear of your Xbox there should be a label with a date on, this will tell you the manufacture date.
