Flat screen TV's unless under warranty are not repairable in a cost effective manner, even if you could find someone who can repair. Time to shop for another TV.
When you attach your Play Station 3 to an HD TV through an HDMI port,
the Play Station 3 will ask you if you wish to switch to HD Mode.
However,
if you decide to move it to another TV that is not HD compatible, you
will get no picture because the Play Station 3 is “stuck” in HD (HDMI)
mode.
Follow these steps to resolve your problem:
1. Turn
off the PS3 so it only shows a red light. You can hold the power button
on the front until it goes into standby. To be sure, flick the power
switch on the back of the Play Station 3 off and then back on.
2.
Make sure your Play Station 3 is connected to your regular TV (not
HDTV) with the standard video cables.
3. Press and hold the power
button until the screen "flickers" and then immediately release. This
should reset the video settings.
4. Wait a few seconds, and the
Play Station 3 (PS3) logo should appear.
If this does not resolve
the problem, follow these steps:

Sounds like your VCR & TV are on different channels.
The VCR's ouput is channel 3 or 4. Try turning your TV to either channel and see if you get a picture. OR try playing the tape and after 2 or 3 seconds, push the play button again for a few seconds to change the VCR's ouput channel.

Playing Back images/Video Clips on TV
You can also playback your images on a TV screen. Before connecting to any device, make sure to
select NTSC/PAL system to match the video output system of the video equipment you are going to
connect to Vivicam 5340s, then turn all connected devices off.
1. Position Vivicam 5340s on the cradle.
2. Match the docking connectors and carefully insert Vivicam 5340s
until it fits in place.
3. Connect one end of the A/V cable to the A/V terminal of the
cradle.
4. Connect the other end to the A/V input socket of the TV set.
5. Turn the TV and Vivicam 5340s on.
6. Playback the still images/video clips.
The method of operation is the same as playing back still
images and video clips on Vivicam 5340s.
I hope this helps:)
