Re: My Camera only works for one second!!
This is your camera's hardware problem. You have to replace it with new one. Replacement needs little skill and some tools. You can do that if u have enough skill to open the phone. Camera is easily availble in local market. Otherwise a skilled technician can do that for you. You have not specified your location so it is not possible to give camera price in your currency. It will cost approximately 12-15 USD. If u found this solution do vote here...

Consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.
The ViviCam does not record any sound to go with its videos.
The battery may be defective (corrupt). It is not uncommon for
rechargeable batteries to go bad, even fairy new ones. You could try a
Hold the power button down for 10 seconds
Check and see if the camera has unfrozen
Power the camera off and leave untouched for about 15 seconds.
Turn the camera back on and ensure that it is working properly.
If it is not, you must do a "hard reset."
Take a pin or the point of a thumbtack and press it into the tiny reset
hole near the camera's tripod mount. This should reset the camera
without affecting any of the video footage recorded with the camera.
If that still doesn't work, contact Flip (Pure Digital) Tech support or
I'm sorry to inform you but after researching your camera only records for 20 seconds. It has nothing to do with your card. Only 20 second blocks of time.
Movie mode - The total amount of recording time available is shown by the green "00:20"
in the lower right hand corner. This is SHQ 640x480 resolution at 30fps, the maximum recording
time is 20 seconds. In the lower quality 640x480 @ 15fps or 320x240 size, the recording time is
limited only by space on your xD card. The shaking hand icon indicates that we have the image
stabilizer turned on.

I would try changing the memorised info that you put into your My1 settings and see if that helps. I just got my V700 today and the first thing I did was put my preferences into My1. I don't really know why your camera is transferring this to your video setting but try removing your presettings in My1.
