Well old chap. Looks like you could use a new inverter or LCD screen.  Next time buy a Sony or Toshiba.

Why does the screen have lines through it when I turn on acer

If it has lines running through it, there is nothing you can do to make them go away, and they persist from the moment the pc is turned on, you most likely have rows of dead pixels. These can happen for many reasons, if they're colored a computer technician may be able to get them "unstuck for you" however this can be futile. If they are black, they're dead however, and there is nothing you will be able to do about them without buying a new monitor.

Acre aspire one N 570 screen is white with colored lines and black spots

Oh dear. I think you havr a GPU issue and need a mother board repair. There are companies advertising on ebay that offer a "re-balling" service for the GPU.
Got to be cheaper than purchasing a new laptop.

Hi
The problem with your PC Notebook has to do with the screen.Since you can hear the sound then your screen might be damaged maybe mistakenly.
You just have to get to the right store and replace the screen so your notebook can work perfectly.

My acer laptop screen has ''coloured lines'' on it's screen, how did this happen?

LCD suffer from wear and tear just like anything else. LCD can simply fail. Also heavy impact or applying to much pressure to the screen and damage the capacitors and transistors that control display of color on the screen.

Lines can form when adjacent pixels are damaged and sorta of join together this way ll or multiple pixels are recieving a voltage in either a horizontal or vertical line or even in a bing blob on your screen.

If you are developing lines on your screen you will need to get it replaced or replace it yourself if you can, as screens tend to be several hundred dollars just for the part

Acer Aspire 9810 Screen Problem

Hi No otto,
On the bottom row of keys, you will see one marked Fn, in a different color. Hodl that and look at your top row of keys. Should be one with a laptop screen, and a monitor. The little graphics will be the same color as the Fn key. Tap that once, wait, see if the screen comes to life. Usually that key is set to choose "Just laptop screen, just external monitor, or both", with each tap.
Good luck,

Acer aspire 5050 laptop color lines on screen

you can try pulling the screen apart and re-seating the ribbon cable, but the lcd might be broken, or one of the controller lcd chips might either be cracked or broken. Trying to reseat the lcd ribbon cable might help, but if there is a visible crack in the screen- you will need a new screen.
