Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
Have your computer always been slow or is it a recent problem?
If it has always been slow, you need to install more ram. Just take your computer to your nearest computer hardware store and they should inform you on what ram you need to buy. They will do it for free.
If this slow pc is a recent problem, you might want to defrag the computer. But this could just as easy be a duplication virus, so it might also help if you update your virus protector and do a full system scan.
My best advice is however to format the computer and install a clean copy of windows.
Hope you can find this helpful.

Testimonial: "thanks for he quick response!"
Generally speaking, there are mainly 2 reasons causing a pc (especially an old one) running slow. Outdated hardware or poor system maintenance. If possible, try upgrade hardware configuration such as add more RAM etc. This way will be most effective. Otherwise you can try this pc utility to diagnose thus fix the possible issues. Best regards!
