Hi,
On the motherboard the pinouts on the front panel should be colour coded, and marked with letters like in this picture >>>>>
connecting power leads and reset leads to - ce10baf.jpg

The connectors are also marked corresponding to where the connect on the motherboard, like in this picture >>>>>>

If the board is not colour coded then the motherboard will marked with the same letters, you may need a strong light to see the marks.

Regards.

Locate the case connector pins on your motherboard. This will be a bank of two rows with 10-12 pins in each row. Each pin will be about 1 cm in length.2 Locate the power lead behind the power button on your computer case. The lead will consist of two thin wires, usually white and black, held together by a small plastic cap.3 Examine the underside of the power lead for an arrow or dot. If one is present, the marking signifies the first pin. This must correspond with the first pin on the motherboard, which will also be indicated by an arrow, dot, or number. If no markings are present, the lead can be installed in either orientation.4 Place the lead over the power pins within the pin bank. The correct pins will be indicated by a diagram on the motherboard, or by a picture in your motherboard's instruction manual.5 Connect the power cable to the back of your computer, and turn the computer on.

I have a gigabyte ga 81865gme775 mother board, can you give me the front pannel connection details

    hello jknr09

    my name is ausi

i can not find your motherboard on gigabyte web site. however the boards nowadays are standard as far as front panel header goes.

on gigabyte mother board you will see the hedae as two rows of pins like this.

    ....
    ..... ....

the bottom row first 4 pins are the speaker pins. the next single pin is void the next two are reset switch. the last two are hard disk lead.
the top row first two pins are message lead (usually not used). the next two pins are power switch exactly opposite the reset switch.

the power lead connection on gigabyte boards are a three pin header next to the front panel header.

    hopefully this is helpful.

Computer will not power on after installing g41t-m motherboard. All connections were made according to manual. Any suggestions?

Make sure that the ram you are using is compatible with this system board, also there two connections to the system board to the power supply (1) 24 pin connection and (1) 4 pin connection, are they both in there tight? Is the hard drive drive spinning? Are the connections correct for the reset and power switch. Double check the manual on those connections.

Info to connect front panel leds

Each of the ends of the cables that lead to the LEDs should be labelled, e.g., 'PWR/power', 'RST/reset', 'SPK/speaker', 'HDLED/hard-drive-LED', 'PWRLED/power-LED'.

Connect each labelled connector to the labelled pins on the motherboard.

KM18G pro motherboard power connection, reset sw, power sw, etc.

    Hi.

You can download the manual for your motherboard here.

Inside you will find information of where does each connector go. Each connector on the case has a marking on it (HDD, PWR, RST or similar) which stands for hard disk LED, power button, reset button and so on. Connect it to the right place, and problem is solved.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask.
