You have received this error due to the fact that the incorrect radio code was entered repeatedly. To correct the problem you will need to obtain your radios serial number. Honda locates this information in various placed in your car: The radio casing itself (this requires you to pull the radio out of your dash), the side of your glove box (if in the drivers seat, open glove box and look on the side wall), the drivers side door jamb, and sometimes in the engine bay. Honda chose the placement of these stickers haphazzardly, so you will need to look in all of these places.

Another way to obtain the radio serial number is to depress the #1 and #6 presets at the same time and then powering on the unit (radio). This will dispay the serial number in a two set series, typically containing a U and an L and 8 numbers. I think the UL is for underwriters lab.

Once you have the serial number simply call your honda steal ar ship and provide them with this information and they will give you the code. They may request additional information including your VIN. NEVER, EVER, EVER pay for this information. If one dealer will not provide it to you is requires too much info, call the next.

2003 Odyssey. What is the radio code?

It is what makes the radio useless to someone who steals it. You need the radio serial number to get the code from a dealer, or registering with Honda online as the owner. Hold preset #1 and #6 down and then turn on radio, keeping 1 and 6 pressed. Serial # is 8 digits, displayed 4 at a time.

Honda odyssey 2003 CD player shows E 00 w hen I try to load cd

E00 is a vague error code used by Honda that indicates a problem with the CD Drive in the head unit. Unfortunately this will require removing and head unit and replacing it with either an OEM replacement or an aftermarket unit.

My odyssey 2003 is showing code err for the entertainment

Does the radio work at all. or is the cd player the only issue.? most of the time you need to enter a radio code to unlock the radio. If you enter it wrong to many times it will display error on the display.if you dont know the code then you can call the dealership and get the code after you do the following below to get the serial number.
Press and hold 1 and 6 on the radio while still holding the 1 and 6 press the power button. At this time it will read off serial number

Radio stopped working on my 2003 honda odyssey

Most honda's radios had a theft deterent system that requires a 4 digit code to be entered after power to the system is lost. If you do not have a code setup, look in your owners manual, some had a factory set code to unlock and allow you to set your own code. If not, you may need to see a dealer as they would be the only ones I know that would have the capability to unlock it.

I changed the bettery in my 2003 Honda Odyssey and now the radio won't play, it asks for a reset code. How do I find this code to reset it to play ?

Inside the glove compartment on the left hand side there should be a series of numbers under 6. You punch in the order on your pre set radio station numbers and it should come right on! Good Luck!

Hi i lost my radio code for honda crv lx 2003 ,pls help me out.

Sorry no easy fix, 2 choices, 1 remove radio and take to car radio specialist, they can recode to a new one. Or contact your local Honda Main dealer, give them your chassis No etc, and if it's the original radio they should be able to scource the code from the manufacture, Cheers

Radio not accepting manufactur code.

If it is the correct code, you may have entered it a few times & locked the system. Either disconnect the battery & wait a minute & reconnect & retry, or pull the radio fuse & retry after waiting a minute & reinstalling.

My radio says code error. How can I reprogram it,

If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code. Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release.)
. Some older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number. Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code.
Hope this helps at least to get you started on getting the code.
