Question about Apple iPhone 3G
Try a different charger and to hard reset the iPhone (menu and on/off together for 5sec). If that fails too there is a hardware issue. Apple should give you a replacement. If you're out warranty, you can try to open it and replace dock connector. If that fails you need a new logic board.
