I am a member of our local church and we have 5 Oreck XL2000 which need occasional repair.Does anyone offer a repair manual?

The belt has broke. The easiest way to replace is by removing baseplate on bottom. There are 5 screws.

There could be a problem with the cord. I suggest taking it to a local vacuum shop to have it inspected as that could be the problem

try calling the manufacturer or seeing if they have a website that you can download the manual from some manufacturers do have manuals online

it is like a static ground post your right it really dosent do anything

ebay,google or the products manufacturer if all else fail try your local vacuum repair shop

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Oreck XL Ultra Bagged Upright Vacuum. The best place to get an owner’s manual is from the Oreck Factory of which I will supply for you listed below or you can download the owner’s manual from the Oreck Website. . I would check with your local Oreck dealer or vacuum dealer in your area to see what is going on. This is most unusual for this to happen.
