how did you connect your wireless mouse before? Via bluetooth? via a wireless transmitter (that came with your mouse)? if via bluetooth, have you turned on your BT? if so, you have to detect it. if via wireless transmitter (usually you connect this in the usb) ? then maybe there is a button on the mouse that you need to press on turn on.

If you're running XP or newer, your system should autodetect the wireless receiver plugged into your USB port which will then autodetect the signal from the mouse. Some wireless mice have a small button on the bottom that must be pushed and held for a few seconds each time the battery is installed.
By the way, the receiver that goes into the USB port may be different for each mouse. Use the one that came with the mouse.

I have a cordless mouse/keyboard K350. The mouse M510 stopped working. Purchased several months ago. Now what?

If you can, check your wireless mouse with another computer to determine if it is working or not. If it works on the other computer, remove any M510 drivers from your computer. Plug the wireless adapter back in, and see if you computer recognizes it and the port it is plugged into (control panel/system/devices). If the computer recognizes it and loads software, try your mouse again.

I JUST BOUGHT A WIRELESS MOUSE AND WIRELESS KEEBOURD, HOW DO I GET THEM TO WORK ON MY DESKTOP?

Depending on what kind they are, Windows may automatically recognize them when you plug the USB receiver into your computer. If Windows doesn't already have drivers for them installed, install the drivers that came with them on the CD, and the mouse and keyboard should both work fine.

Cordless mouse stopped working

While this sounds redundant, check the batteries again, then hit the connection button on the receiver and the button on the bottom of the mouse. That will usually re-establish the connection.
If that does not work, go into Control Panel and Hardware and uninstall the mouse, then restart the computer. That may get it recognized again.
There have been some reports of issue where the because of Windows updates, some cordless mice no longer are recognized but they work on other computers. If that is what you have going on, there is no answer other than to get a different brand of wireless mouse that uses different drivers.

Wireless mouse installation

Make sure that you sync your mouse with receiver if it has it. If you have done so already try new battried and another computer to test the hardware. If fals then RMA it.

I just bought a Mx 620 cordless mouse and it doesn't work

You usually have to have the mouse and tranceiver recognize each other. There is usually a botton on the tranceiver and mouse. You press the one on the tranceiver, and when it blinks, you press the one on the mouse.
