This is the toy. It s a REALTOY with a# on the bottom of he space shuttle being 090729. I have put a 9v battery in the controller but on he top of the space shuttle itself is a piece that has to remove somehow becaue if you out your fingernail under one side you can see the compartment for 2 AA batteries.

From what I can tell it actually takes 4 AA batteries. I would think that there would be 1 or 2 small philips screws to the battery compartment.

This company has little or no tech support.

The best I can do is to give you a couple of links to the company contact page and also an enquiry form page. There is also an email link on the contact page. None of the other links would work from my PC.

Sorry I could not help further. Thanks for using Fixya just the same.

Look somewhere around the bottom for a screw. These types of toys always have a screw battery cover instead of a snap on cover because of the action they perform. If you can't find this, please respond with a model number for the aircraft.

Can you elaborate further on the manufacturer, where purchased, or any other information that would help narrow down your search?

thanks

This is not the reason. The dual contacts in the boat are there to accommodate two types of battery packs. Only one pair is used at a time.

Lost remote to the HUMMER H2 - will any 27mhz controller work , or does it have to be from FASTLANE?

Any 27 mhz controller would work in ur TOY! Just check the exact frequency of the CRYSTAL in the board of the truck and the controller, they must be almost the same frequency or adjust the tuning in either truck or the controller!

Hi ihave brought helicopter ftw 730 but the remote control was not its own .the helicopter ftw 730 remote control frequency is 40 mhz but the one i have is 27 mhz so how can i make as 40 mhz remote...

Unfortunately you can't. You will need to change the receiver or the transmitter so they are both the same frequency range eg 40mhz or 27mhz. Then you will need to check the crystal is the same frequency for the Transmitter and receiver eg 40.25mhz. NB. you can't put a 27mhz crystal into a 40mhz set or vise versa it won't work.

27 mhz rc helicopter will not operate. The helicopter motor runs fine when powered directly, but will not start using the radio control panel.

WE have bought the Black Hawk Heli with 27Mhz radio system to sell. The Heli's fly great and the Gyro makes them even stable. However when they feel like it, the motor starts running on its own and we had them all returned by clients. What a ******* these were. anyone may know how to rectify this radio problem. I know that 27Mhz frequency is very critical to interference, but this is upsurd.
Anyone with knowledge please give us a solution.
Regards to all. George

New 27 MHZ Helicopter Controller won't turn on

I have a 27Mhz helicoper (looks identical to the one on the picture). I tried to fly it for the first time, but I am having problems controlling it. The left radio control lever sends the helicopter upwards, but the right hand control doesn't seem to do anything and that should make it go backwards and forwards. Can anyone help me as well please?
