That's pretty much it. I would get two ground distrubution blocks (1 large guage in / 4 smaller out). Use one on the power side and one on the ground side. the extra "outs" can be used to add a cap or another amp later if needed.

Want to connect 2 yamaha msr 800 w subwoofers with each other because the one speaker build in amp is not working can i

If you want to do it the safe way so you don't put too much of a load on your amp, connect the positive wire from one speaker to the positive output from your amp. Then connect the negative wire from that speaker to the positive wire of the second speaker. Finally connect the negative wire of the second speaker to the negative output of the amp. This will get sound from both speakers without straining your amp. This is called wiring in series.

How do I connect my nitro 1000 watt amp to get thr most bass .i have two 15 vx kickers

If you have the Nitro bmw-482 running it at 2 ohms will give you the max output (its not 1ohm stable so don't run it that way). First run your two dvc speakers parallel (run both negative out puts together and both positive out puts together on each speaker). After this you should have 1 positive and 1 negative wire from each speaker (4 wires altogehter). This will give you a 1 ohm load which your amp can't handle, so you have to run the 4 wires in series to create a 2 ohm load. Now take the positive wire from 1 speaker and connect it to the negative wire from the opposite speaker. Thats how to run in series. Now you should have 1 positive wire from 1 speaker and 1 negative wire from the other speaker which is 2 ohm load. Your amp sould be bridgeable, so connect the positive wire into the correct terminal of your amp and the negative wire into the correct terminal of your amp according to where to bridge it (positive into left positive, negative into right negative) . That will give you a 2 ohm load bridged which is the most power you can get out of your amp 300 watts. Medium quality amps are over rated so you will never acheive the 1000 watts as advertised.

Powers up but no speaker output

Hello montez1599,

That's a great amp.

You do not say what subs you are connecting or what wiring configuration you are using. But there should be no problem if the amp is powering up normally. I'd check the gain and crossover settings to make sure they match the subs.

Having 2 +'s and 2 -'s is just a convenience for connecting more than one sub to the amp. If you have just one sub, connect to either of the positives and either of the negatives (they're connected internally). If you have 2 subs, you can run separate wires to each sub or you can wire the subs together and then run just one positive and negative to the amp.

Hope this helps.

How do i hook up my power acoustik capacitor the right way.

HEY GUY..FIRST THING....GOOD JOB IN GETTING A BIG CAP :) ...SECOND I HAVE WIRED THESE FOR YEARS..ITS REALLY VERY EASY.......THE OBJECTIVE IS TO PUT THIS IN LINE WITH YOUR AMP....SO WITHIN ABOUT A FOOT AND A HALF OF YOUR AMP..YOU WANT TO 1.. CUT YOUR POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE WIRES RUNNING THE POWER TO YOUR AMP...2. YOU WILL THEN CUT THE INSULATION OFF AROUND THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE WIRES ON BOTH ENDS OF THE WIRES YOU HAVE JUST CUT(YOU WILL END UP HAVING THE 2 POS AND 2 NEG. WIRES WITH THE INSULATION PEELED OFF)... 3... YOU WILL THEN JUST HAVE THE 2 WIRES (WITH THE INSULATION GONE OFF OF THEM) OUT OF THE AMP..AND THE OTHER 2 STRIPPED OFF RUNNING TO THE CAR BATTERY (POS) AND THE (NEG) TO THE CAR FRAME OR NEG BATTERY POST... 4.. YOU WILL THEN JUST MATCH UP THE POSITIVE FROM THE AMP INTO THE POSITIVE ON THE CAP...AND THE POSITIVE GOING BACK TO THE BATTERY OF YOUR CAR TO THE POSITIVE ON THE CAPACITOR...DO THE SAME THING WITH ALL OF THE NEGATIVES.......
SUMMARY.... CUT THE NEG. AND POSITIVE WIRES.WITHIN 1.5 FT FROM THE AMP.... PEEL INSULATION ON WIRES BACK ABOUT .5" ON ALL 4 WIRES.... PUT ALL THE POSITIVES TOGETHER AND ALL THE NEGATIVES TOGETHER...AND YOU CANT GO WRONG....THANK YOU
Good Luck

Alpine type-r 2ohm dual voice coil help

try reconnecting your rca's from the deck to the amp when finished wire one speaker positive to positive on left channel and negative to negative on right channel then connect the 1st subwoofer. if all power and sound is fine and working turn off power to amp and connect negative terminal of 1st sub to positive on 2nd sub and positive from first sub to negative on second crossing the wires runs the speakers in series another way to try is parralel the speakers wiring by connecting positive left channel output of amp to positive on 1st sub same with the negative then splice positive to positive on second sub and same with negative.

Only one sub works

The amp should produce no output when using the left negative and the right positive.

If the amp works bridged (left positive and right negative) with one speaker AND works when you connect one speaker from the left positive to the right positive, it would appear as though the right channel isn't getting any signal.

Try inserting only the left signal cable (nothing plugged into the right RCA jack) to see if the right channel will work when a speaker is connected to the right channel speaker terminals.

Car amp re conecting the the battery

Hook up the battery, (the negative post) and then put the fuse in. This is the best choice because if you put in the fuse and then put the negative post back in and the wires slip when putting in the negative post, the fuse might blow due to the sparks. You will then need to get another fuse, which also mean sending more money.

Wiring woofers

Well, you have the 4 ohm dvc kickers, and your amp being stable to 2 ohms doesn't go together very well. If you wire the voice coils in series, and hook the speakers to the amp in parallel, you get 4 ohms, which doesn't use all the power your amp is capable of. If you run the voice coils and the speakers in parallel, you'll drop the resistance to 1 ohm, and probably fry the amp, or at least deal with overheating issues. Better be safe than sorry. You need to run each speaker in series, which means running a positive and negative to each speaker, and a jumper from those terminals to the opposite colored terminals on the second voice coil. Diagram can be seen here: http://www.kicker.com/06/tech-support/manuals/manuals/02SoloBaricL7manual.pdf That puts two 4ohm voice coils in series, and raises the resistance of each speaker to 8 ohms. Then, you have to run both speakers in parallel to the amp. When you run two 8 ohm circuits in parallel, the total resistance of the circuit is 4 ohms. That means seperate positive and negative wires to each speaker. If it is a mono amp, connect both negatives to the negative output, both positives to the positive output. If it is a multi-channel bridgeable amp, You'll probably connect the negatives to one side output (right for example) then connect the positives to the opposite side output (left for example). If you need to bridge your amp, make sure it is bridgeable, and also that you have the speakers bridged to the proper amp outputs. If not sure, reply back here with the amp model number, and maybe I can help you further. Thanks, and I hope this solves your problem.

Sony amp bridging

Your amp, being a 2-channel amp, should have 2 speaker connections with a negative sign(-) and 2 with positive signs(+)...Take your speaker wires (You will need 4 of them) and twist the ends of 2 of the together and put them into the negative spot on 1 side of your amp. Assuming you have 2 subs, connect them 1 to each sub and be sure they are on the negative sides of the subs or both are on the same side of the subs. Then do the same with the positive leads except to put them in the positive spot on the opposite side of the amp. So you will have the negatives from one side's outputs (or channel 1) and the positives from the other side's outputs (channel 2). Thus, your amp will be "bridged" across both channels. Hope this helps...just comment back if you need a diagram or something. And be sure to leave feedback please.
