Question about Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Comfort Edition
I know it's a comon joke, but I spilled coffee on my Wieless keybord, and now, to no one's surprise, many of the keys stick. Is there a source of information on cleaning my keyboard, or it DOA? or beest of all, cany tell me how to go about fixing this problem?
If you're lucky, the coffee did not penetrate into the key membranes. Remove the battery, then try rinsing the affected area with clean water the same way you spilled your coffee. That way the water will go into the same areas. If you try some upside-down-on-an-angle rinse, the water may not get into the sticky areas. Dry immediately using a hair dryer set on low/medium.
Chances are it's ruined, but a few minutes of rinsing and drying might save your keyboard. Not much to lose by trying.
