Question about Whirlpool Inglis IP4400 Washer
Chgeck that you drain hose rises above the water level before going into the drain. If not then the water will siphon out as you put it in. The drain hose must go UP above the top of the washer and then DOWN into the drain.

Chad -- Your problem most likely is the drain hose is either
a) Clamped tight to a drain line of some sort allowing water to siphon out
b) Washer drain hose is Shoved too far down the drain pipe
c) Drain pipe is lower than tub of washer alllowing water to drain
