Question about Televison & Video
If it has the original Lamp, I would recommend you still replace the lamp. If you have already replaced the Lamp, I would look for a Power Supply Problem. It has been known to fail when the Lamp fails. Two Capacitors on the Power Supply Board that filter the Voltage Line to the Ballast fail and are easily identified by the tops being bubbled. But most of the time when I have had the Lamp intermittently light or goes off and on has been the Lamp it self being weak.
