Sorry but your silent switch needs replacement. Take it to the apple store and see if they'll give you a replacement. If they don't there are third party iPhone Repair Services that can fix it for you. There are also free iPhone Repair guide that show you how to fix it yourself. The part is on Ebay.

Don't know how to increase the ring volume?

To increase the volume for the ringer, the volume buttons located on the charging stand can adjust the volume. To change the ringer volume on the phone instead of using the stand, go to the menu on the phone and type 1 then 1 again. This will take you to the ringer volume screen. You can select between the options:{1}: Low {2}: Medium {3}: {0}: Off.

Can the jitterbug ringer be turned off?

You can set your phone to Vibrate or silent mode so that the phone vibrates rather than rings. With the phone on and open, look at the inside screen while adjusting the ringer volume using the rubber volume button on the outside of the phone. As you adjust the volume, the inside screen will display the ringer volume level. It ranges from Max to Vibrate. Simply turn it down until the level reads Vibrate.

If you would like more step-by-step instructions, please call our Customer Service department at (800) 733-6632. We are available 24/7.
