Hi,

You will probably need a Adobe Flash player update installed before you can use the can with MSN.

Go here to Adobe and install Flash player >>>>>>>>>>>>>

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Once installed you should be able to use the cam straight away.

Good luck.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have msn 9.0 and i cant open my webcam

There are a few thing you can try:
- reinstall the webcam drivers (and software)
- reinstall MSN
- use an older version of MSN
- use a webcam sharing prorgam (like SplitCam or ManyCam)
- check your network settings to make sure that MSN is allowed to pass the firewall (defined as an exception).

When I use my webcam with MSN I cant see myself on webcam it only have a picture of my webcam and an X by it how can i fix this?

Have you checked the Windows Device Manager (in the Control Panel) to see if the webcam device is working properly?
You can also try using another chat program to confirm the webcam is working (try Skype, Yahoo or AIM).
