Sound like a driver issue, reinstall and check that it is correct one.

Hello thierry,
Wow, alot of variables here.If you are using PS drivers then you of coures MUST have a Fiery,or a Canon option that emulates PS.This can be as simple as it's onboard limited ability to emulate PS(which although is onboard is locked out unless you have prchased a special "license" to use it) or one of Canon's external print contollers that again "emulate" PS.This is a given, anything less than the 2 external controllers Canon offers (ImagePass H1/ColorPassGX100) will not provide full interpretaion of PS.And even the the high end controllers may misinterpret certain graphics data in the PS format as they are emulators of the Fiery controller. If you have niether of the 4 options (onboard licensed controller,H1,GX or Fiery) then you have inherent limitations.A simple PDF document would be better presented using the UFR II print driver available at Canon's website.Just as an Adobe PostScript document may not output properly using an inferior driver and/or controller,a PDF file may be ouput poorly using a PS driver.I hope I have been of some help to you as that's what I try to do,help. Best wishes and GFL ! :-)

Sounds like the copier is needing to have a DC Controller or MMI reset. Before doing this make sure you have printed out the current setting in P Print, Addresses ( E-mail, Faxes, etc. ), and any other items that may be stored in the copier. I can't remember all the items a " CLEAR " will wipe out but it's a good policy to have a current copy of this printed out anyway. Before doing the clear, look to make sure the settings agree with canon print settings located behind the door panel.
Good Luck.
