Question about Nokia 3200

Headset my phone is stuck on headset, so when my phone rings you must have a headset plugged into it or you can not hear the person on the other end, also you can not ring out because you still can not hear the person on the other end and if the headset is not plugged in it will only ring twice for you to answer it.

I'm having the same problem. My phone is stuck in headset mode. I don't know how to change it. I tried restarting my phone, but it restarted in headset mode. I can't find anything about the headset in my phone's menu. This happened suddenly and without warning. I was using the phone earlier today and now I cannot.

It might be that the speaker/buzzer of your phone is already busted or perhaps just a lose connection. Let a phone technician inspect it. It can also be that the phone is locked to its headset state, this means that the phone always reads that the headset is connected, in this case just restart your phone. Be sure to check also if the profile is not set to headset. These are the possible causes i assume but i think its more on the hardware problem.

The headset jack is jammed.
Try blowing some compressed air in there and also insert a headset plug and wiggle it about to see if it knocks the stuck bit loose.

Cannot hear phone ringing in headset, only on handset.

The HL10 handset lifer is what notifies your headset that you have an incoming call. If you are using the handset lifter and are not receiving the 3 short beeps in your ear piece there are a couple different things that could be going on.
1. The internal microphone could have gone out on the lifter. This microphone is what sends the signal to your headset that you have an incoming call. If the microphone is working you will hear 3 short beeps in your headset.
2. If the volume is too low on your telephone, the handset lifter will not notify the headset of an incoming call, so try turning the volume up on your phone and see if that takes care of the problem.
3. The HL10 handset lifter ships with a ring detector that has a 2.5mm jack on one end and a small round microphone on the other end. This ring detector is intended for phones that do not have the speaker located under the handset. You could try plugging this into the back of the lifter and setting the microphone next to where the lifter is mounted on your phone. This might help pick up the sound of the phones ring tone.

If you are manually lifting your handset out of the cradle and sitting it to the side instead of using a lifter, then you will not receive the 3 short beeps in your earpiece to notify you of an incoming call.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

When the phone rings and the person answering the call can hear the caller the problem is: the caller cannot hear the voice of the person that answered the phone.

you can try to use a headset and see if it will work
normally if the caller cannot hear the receiver theres some problem with the mouthpiece. if the headset and loudspeaker works then you have to go to the store and have it fixed.
hope this help

When i make or get call I can hear them but they can't hear me. I get this yellow swiggly object on my screen.

Hi,

There is some problem with your phone mic only.please use your headset to check it.Connect your headset and answer phone with your headset. If the person don other side hear you then the problem is with the mic only. Please take the mobile to NOKIA CARE centre and they will repair the mic.

The yellow colour swiggly object which comes next to the battery bar is nothing unusual. It shows that your call is been connected with the person on other side. This symbol will not appear when the other person's phone is ringing,When the person picks up the phone this yellow colour symbol will apear.]

Thank You

Unable to connect jabra t5330 to a cisco ip phone 7941G headset jack

You can solve this by connecting your phone inline.
On the back of the phone where the phone handset plugs into, plug one end of the jabra headset wire & connect other end to the 2nd position (marked by phone & handset). Now plug the handset wire from Ip phone to the 1st position (marked by handset) in the jabra headset. Now you are good to go.

When the phone rings lift the phone handset and answer it with your jabra headset. You can't use jabra with 7941 without lifting the handset on phone.
