Question about Computers & Internet
I just recovered an LG Flatron L196WTQ-BF Monitor. I plugged it in and it did not power up. I realize there is probably a problem internally, so I have disassembled it and taken photos of the board.
If you see anything that jumps out as being broken/wrong let me know so I will be able to repair it.

I can see at least one capacitor by the yellow transformer has bulging top. Replace those green capacitors with PANASONIC FM series from DIGIKEY. It has low ESR, and high ripple current handling. You can also use FC series if they do not have the FM series instock.

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.
