Everytime i insert the tape i have this beeping sound and flashing numbers on the screen

Install data is corrupt, delete and reinstall.

I presume you have lights & sound on the controller when you turn it on - fourteen quick beeps and then a different toned fifteenth beep. The screen lights (blue). Insert the battery (lettering facing up toward the helo fuselage unitl it's seated all the way - an LED inside the fuselage, visible from behind, quick flashes and then begins a slower blinking.

Once the helo battery is inserted, turn on the controller, which starts the aforementioned beeping. On the last controller beep the helo's LED will stay lighted, indicating the helo & controller are synched.

I had a problem making sure the battery was inserted all the way into the helicopter. You'll know it's inserted properly when the LED inside the helo flashes.

Sounds like the camera ATE THE TAPE will not eject,fastforward, or rewind.. This will need to be repaired , worse case a belt slipped or something got misalligned inside, I would recommend a camera shop so you can save the tape otherwise digging into this yourself could stirr up more issues in the long run. Please do be considerate of facts here that we cannot see your unit and this error is because the tape got ATE or something got jammed.

change the mechnical assembley of casete

Beeping and error code flashing shows that camcorder got some problem and usually its tape mechanism that needs qualified tech to check and fix.
Mostly its take-up reel section problems. Local camera tech will fix it.

I bought a new handycam that has no tape it recirds in Mini-DVD disks or a memory card. I just got fed up with tapes. Thanks.

Change the tape

I had the same problem. I would suggest going to the service with it. The "head" needs changing.

camcorder is just saying get this tape out of me. may be the tape, may need cleaning only or possible tension adjustments.

I have a Sony handy cam ccd-trv108 Hi-8 and I can not get it to play or record, everytime I insert the tape and hit play the display screen flashes c:31.22 Please help me?
