Question about Panda Internet Security 2009 - 3 User for PC
Meh, maybe Panda doesn't like connecting NATed through your husband's box or that's inconsistent with the settings you've told it about. If you're both just peers on one side of the D-Link uplinked to your ISP though, it doesn't make much sense.
Check Panda's logs on your system (or turn them on so you can perhaps see what its notion was in cutting off connectivity!) Whitelist Home Network in Panda. And of course use their support for their stuff too!
