Question about D-Link DES-1008D 8-Port Ethernet Switch (790069217708)
The first thing that I would advise you to do to avoid this problem is to connect your switch to both a Voltage regulator and a UPS.
This is because what I suspect here is voltage fluctuation/upsurge, which if care is not taken might damage your Switch totally.
