I take it that this is a heat pump. Check your coils and your filter, make sure they are clean. It could be a dirty eveperater coild or dirty filter. It could also be a freon issue (to much freon). Heat pumps are touchy when it comes to Freon pressure. When in cooling mode, it's not that cretical but when in the heat mode, it has to be real close or you will have problems. Normally, the pressure switch is set off due to one of two reasons.

  1. The unit can't get rid of the heat causing the pressure to build to high.
  2. To much Freon pressure.
Good luck!

Is it normal for my furnace to have burner cycle once or twice

That sounds normal. When the bonnet reaches a preset temperature the burner turns off then when it cools down a bit the burner turns back on. Clean filters etc will help to keep the burner on longer in a cycle.

Rheem split system condenser high pressure limit/safety needs resetting frequently before it reaches the set temp of 76 degrees faren. what's wrong and what do i need to check?

Is the outdoor fan running? The fan cools the coils and compressor, therefore keeping the high pressure low enough to run. Either the fan is not working or its not spinning fast enough. Check the capacitor, or just replace it.

themostat is bad, or the heat anticipator on the stat is bad, which means you still need a new stat

My fryer will not heat up consistently. If i press the reset button, it heats up. But after heating up to a certain temp it shuts down and stops heating. There is power to the unit, it seems like a problem...

It probably is a problem with the thermostat. The reset button is probably a high limit. The high limit is a safety device to turn the fryer off if the oil gets too hot. Normally they will "trip" somewhere between 375 - 450 degrees F for commercial fryers. I would suggest placing a temperature probe in the oil and see what the oil temp is when it trips. If it trips at a temp below 375, it is a bad high limit. If the thermostat is set at 350 and the temp goes over 400 then the thermostat is bad.

Kitchenaid oven KEBC107KSS03 won't heat after cleaning cycle.

I have a kitchenaid oven # KEBC107KSS03. When I set the temp to 400 the buzzer goes off saying the temp has reached the desired temp, the temp is only 250 and will take another 20-30min to reach 400.

thanks for your reply

Continuos running blower

hi! there,
blower auto shutting off and on is dependent to thermostat setting,if the thermostat acquired the temperature set it will shut of your blower, checking thermostat performance switch off unit, set this to a lower setting 1 or 0 switch on this should not runof course,if you set up this to 200 this will run until temperature reached to 200 it will stop.when you set up to 1 or 0 and the blower run thermostat is defective.
fan blower relay, if the 3 contactor is short or permanently engage while themostat reached acquired temperature your blower will still running, defenitely relay is defective.relay is dependent to thermostat switching,it supply holding coil terminal is to lock the 3 contactor to supply source to your blower.
so two common option while your blower run continously
1. shut off breaker, disconnect thermostat on two leads, its like a switch.then switch on breaker and run unit.
observe if run, your relay is defective,it was shorted on 3 contactor.
thermostat is the key to run your blower.
2. if the blower not run when you switchn onunit, then switch off again and try to short or connect the two lead using alligator clip on both side,or have it clip the terminals, then switch on again if the blower run, your themostat is defective, the high volatile of filler bulb was leak it always switch on,no play at all to off and on.
have a nice day, don't forget to rate me,thank's

Does it have a themostat?

The R50 has no thermostat.

The two knobs... are they screws? In the round black plastic end cover? If so, do NOT adjust because they are not a thermostat, instead, this is the heartbeat of the fuel system. The air pump pumps fuel to the nozzle and atomizes the fuel. If you have adjusted the one with a hole in it you will need to reset the pump pressure. It's easy!
