Question about Computers & Internet

No print of the Internet Address Bar

I mainly use one program for my job both through my laptop and office computers. My office computer does not print the internet addresses when printing something off of the web - my laptop (hooked to the lexmark printer) does.

Where do I need to do (in a step-by-step please!) to change what my printer views and prints?

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I can not access http settings

Hi, ...I hear what you are saying Donald. Getting to grips with computing can take a little time to get used to. Is there anybody who can help you, a young person maybe? I often get help from my girls when learning something new. Friends are useful too.
By http settings do you mean the address bar on your internet browser? the bar that you type internet addresses into?
If you want to type a new address into that bar hit the ctrl and L buttons simultaneously... that will highlight the address already there....Then hit the delete button to clear the current address.
You can then type in a new address .....you do not neeed to put in the http://www. bit the computer will do that all on it's own
For instance....if you want to go to the bbc welsite just type in bbc.co.uk and hit the enter button.

It is all very straightforward

GOOD LUCK

Help! Our Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop (service tag# 28D58F1) stopped printing. It was printing through our wireless network to our main computer with printer attached with no problems and then one day we...

There are several things to look for, but here are the first things to check:
  1. Is the printer plugged in and turned on?
  2. Can you print a test page from the main computer to the printer? If not, check what is in the queue to print on the main computer. Delete (Cancel) any print jobs in there that are not printing.
  3. Is the printer on the main computer marked as shared, if not, mark the printer as shared.
  4. Look at the print queue on the Inspiron laptop, if there are jobs stuck in there, delete (cancel) any stuck print jobs from the laptop and attempt to print a test page from it's printer properties by right-clicking on its icon in the control panel and clicking Print Test Page.
  5. If none of the above has revealed the problem...
    1. Remove the printer from the laptop by right clicking on its icon and choosing to remove the printer.
    2. Click on Add Printer and attempt to add the printer back to the laptop by following the instructions that come up. If the printer is not located, make sure your wireless network is running and that you are able to connect wirelessly with both the main computer and the laptop.
      1. Make sure that you are on the same Workgroup or HomeGroup
(right click on Computer (or My Computer, or This PC) in your file explorer and choose properties to see your Workgroup or Homegroup information) in any case, both computers must be on the same network).

Printer not receiving jobs from computers in office..HELP!

what type of connector do you use? if its network printing then check ip address, cable, and the network card of the machine if it shows light, if its usb cable check the driver or cable.
note: make sure when you press the print buttom on the machine it doesnot show offline! if it shows offline you cannot print hit go or start to make it online.
if none of this work, reset the machine by hitting 1087 twice this will take you to maintenance mode then hit 906 then start, highlight the words that come on screen by your finger then hit start, the machine will ask you to put the main power on and off, do that and you will be fine.
Best Regards
