I have a few questions for you first.1 did the new hard drive come with a disk,if so did you use it. 2 did you insert your recovery media into your drive and restart your computer
You upgraded your PC what OS is your new system? Win 7?. Most probably the software you downloaded for your USB or PCI wireless adapter is not compatible to new OS.
From the model you mention Netgear WG111 (USB)? Drivers are for XP. Maybe you can download a newer version that support your OS.
make sure it is set as default printer in the printers menu in your control panel. make sure you rebooted the computer after installing the software. unplug the printer/scanner and let it stand for 30 seconds before plugging it in. change USB ports.
Because you have a dual boot system, you have two 'C' drives, which in fact is a good idea if you get a system failure on the drive you are using, you can select the other and still view any files on the other drive through my computer.
f using XP, right click my computer, then properties, then click advanced tab, then startup and recovery listing click settings, at the top system startup, select the default operating system, then click EDIT button, then delete the value that points to the other hard drive more than likely listed as disc1, disk 0 will be the one you have connected as master boot hard drive

Actually if you have windows Xp you will need to download the software from www.sandisk.com
But if you have windows Vista you will not need the software, the computer should recognize it by itself.
