The USB entry is mostly used for a foto slide show.
Please read the owners manual before plugging in any kind of USB sticks or other cable's in a TV set.
It can damage the set when there is a ground connection between some devices.

Any TV which has a USB port is not meant to be connected to any PC, and like tvdoktor said, "It can damage both the TV and PC". USB ports on TV's are for plugging in USB memory sticks. It depends whether the TV has recording and playback facility, or just playback only. The USB memory stick must be formatted to FAT 32 and this is either the case when purchased, (most are), or formatted in a PC, the TV cannot format the USB stick, it only reads and writes data to it.

Where to connect my pen drive in my sony bravia lcd klv32s400a?

Hi Radhika,

Your TV has USB port on back side. Just plug your pendrive there. Then go menu on TV ( use your remote commander) and go to this input. Your TV will read the file on pendrive accordingly.

Flickering screen (LC-52SB55u) with HDMI cable input from Sharp Aquos Blue Ray. HDMI working well from other inputs

Do a quick google for this on the AVForums site where you'll find numerous threads covering this problem. First, select the HDMI input before turning on the blu ray player. The handshake over HDMI is the problem. I have the same problem with a Technika blu ray which is fine on my other TVs.
If this doesn't solve it then you ned a firmware update which can be downloaded from Sharp's website and installed using a USB pendrive or by PCMCIA card from Sharp if you have an older model with a rocker on off switch and no USB update port on the back of the TV.

Hello, We've just bought a FInePix XP10 and can't get the camera to connect to our computer or TV using the supplied USB cable. Camera screen reads 'USB' which suggests something's happening but nothing...

The camera's memory will appear as a disk drive in "My Computer" (Windows). You will find your images as files in a directory on that drive. I don't know about connecting to a TV- presumably it has a USB socket, so I imagine that it will access the camera as a disk drive as well. You will need to read your TV manual to discover how that works. Possibly you press the play button to get a menu onscreen, or the USB button if there is one.
