Water Level Measure of Ground Coffee

100 cups 6 ¼ cups

80 cups 5 cups

60 cups 4 cups

40 cups 2½ cups

Do not make less than 40 or more than 100 cups of coffee at one time. Use electric perk or regular grind coffee; a filter liner is not necessary.

20 cups of coffee needs 2 cups of coffee grounds
30 cups of coffee needs 2 1/2 cups if grounds
40 cups of coffee needs 3 cups of grounds
45 cups of coffee needs 3 1/2 cups of grounds

1 cup brewed coffee = 5 fluid ounces

For every cup of espresso we mean about 25cc to 30 cc and you have to use from 7 to 8 gr of groud coffee per cup according to the coffee blend and how strong you wand the aroma of your coffee. The running time for making either one cup or two cup with apropriate filter is about 24 to 30 sec maximum.

We use this weekly at church and use 2 1/4 measuring cups for 36 cups. This is medium to strong strength, very popular.

I have the Regal 10 to 30 cup model K7030C.
Instructions read as follows:
CUPS COFFEE
(5-oz serving) ( 8-oz dry measure)

10 ........................2/3 Cup
20.........................1 1/4 Cups
30.........................1 3/4 Cups

Make sure there is no water in the area where the container plugs into the unit on the expresso side. If there is water the water container cannot seal properly and the unit acts as if it ran out of water. If that is not the issue then you likely have a leak in the seal/valve itself and the unit would have to be opened to tighten the screws holding the seal/valve in place.

In a properly working machine you should get about 50 ml (1.5 ounces) for the single and about 100 ml for the double. The amount is also programmable and just about the only way to get the same amount is to program both to deliver the same amount. The unit has a flow meter to accurately measure the amount of water going to the espresso. Try the program function to reset the amount for single and double.

We use 'em every sunday at church - 1/2 cup grounds for every 10 cups water. Allowances: finer coffees will use less grounds, and the more you are making, the fewer grounds you need ( or vice versa- the less you are making, you may need to increase grounds a bit, as perk time will be shorter
